Hello everyone, my name is Alice and I am a freshman majoring in Business Administration. I am very excited to be here and to have the opportunity to improve my English skills in this class. Today, I would like to take this chance to introduce myself and share a little bit about my background and interests.
I was born and raised in a small town in China. English has always been my favorite subject since I was in middle school. I found it fascinating to learn about different cultures and communicate with people from all around the world through the English language. This passion for English is what led me to choose to major in Business Administration, as I believe that having a strong command of English will greatly benefit me in my future career.
In terms of my English proficiency, I have taken several English courses throughout middle school and high school. I have also participated in various English competitions and won several awards for my speaking and writing skills. However, I still have a lot to learn and improve upon, which is why I am so excited to be studying English at the university level.
Apart from my academic pursuits, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies. One of my favorite hobbies is reading, especially novels and self-improvement books. I find that reading not only helps me improve my vocabulary and language skills, but also broadens my horizons and allows me to gain new perspectives on life.
In addition to reading, I also enjoy playing the piano. I started playing the piano when I was a child and have continued to play throughout high school. I find playing the piano to be a great way to relax and express my emotions. It also helps me to develop my concentration and discipline.
