总的来说，考研写作是语言考试，而非思维考试，不会着重针对思想内容评分。具体来说，在考试评分中，语言第一位，结构第二位，内容第三位。所以，考试要关心的不是写作的内容，而是语言。
语言美丽，即便内容空洞，也不会太影响你的成绩。也就是说，考研写作考查的是怎么写，而不是写什么。包装大于内容。所以，写作时无须过多考虑文章内容。99%的同学写什么，你就写什么;你第一反应写什么，就写什么。你更多要考虑的是如何重组头脑中的写作模板，写一篇迎合阅卷老师口味的文章。
首先，考试时考生要特别注意语法、语气、标点符号等，为了避免太多单词拼写错误、语法错误，不要为了追求词语的华丽而堆积一些自己也没把握的单词，不要刻意追求长句而写一些自己不知对错的有多个从句组成的长句。考试时最好选择自己最有把握的词汇，短语，句式。
