How I Spent My Summer Vacation
During my summer vacation, I had a great time with my family. We went on a trip to the beach and enjoyed the beautiful scenery there.
On the first day, we arrived at the beach early in the morning. The weather was perfect with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze. We put up our beach umbrella and laid out our beach towels on the sand. I couldn't wait to jump into the water, so I quickly changed into my swimsuit and ran towards the waves. The cool water splashed on my face and it felt refreshing.
In the afternoon, we built sandcastles together. My little sister and I dug a big hole in the sand and shaped it into a castle. We decorated it with seashells and seaweed we found on the shore. It was so much fun to see our sandcastle taking shape.
As the sun started to set, we had a picnic on the beach. We had sandwiches, fruit, and some snacks. The sound of the waves and the cool sea breeze made the meal even more enjoyable. After dinner, we sat on the beach and watched the beautiful sunset. The sky turned orange and pink as the sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon.
The next day, we went for a boat ride. We sailed along the coast and saw dolphins swimming alongside our boat. It was an incredible sight. We also went snorkeling and saw colorful fish and coral reefs underwater. It was like being in a different world.
In the evening, we had a bonfire on the beach. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores. We sang songs and told stories around the fire. It was a perfect ending to our summer vacation.
I will always cherish the memories of my summer vacation at the beach. It was a time of fun, relaxation, and quality time with my family. I am already looking forward to our next beach trip.
