Throughout the day, I attended various classes and met more new people. It was challenging to remember everyone's names, but I tried my best to make an effort. I was relieved to find that the teachers were kind and supportive, making the transition to a new school much easier.
During lunch break, I sat with a group of girls who were kind enough to include me in their conversation. We talked about our hobbies, favorite subjects, and shared some funny stories. It was nice to feel included and I started to feel more at ease in my new environment.
In the afternoon, I had my first English class. I have always loved English and was excited to see what the curriculum would be like at this new school. The teacher introduced herself as Mrs. Johnson and she seemed very passionate about teaching. She gave us a brief overview of what we would be studying and assigned us some homework for the next day.
As the day came to an end, I reflected on my first day at the new school. While it was initially overwhelming, I realized that everyone was in the same boat as me. We were all starting fresh and trying to find our place in this new environment. I felt a sense of excitement for the future and the opportunities that lay ahead.

At the very beginning, I didn‘t want to go playing basketball though my friends invited me to. I was (had been) in a bad mood the whole afternoon because I didn‘t do well in the math exam. With their comfort and encouragement, I went with them. However, I was just one of the audience. I dare not have a try because I was afraid that I couldn‘t play well. Encouraged by my good friends, I picked up the basketball and played with them. And luckily I got scores. I felt very excited.
