我有很多业余爱好，其中我最喜欢的就是弹吉他。
虽然我现在吉他弹的非常好，但是我学吉他的过程是非常艰辛和漫长的。
记得有一天，我在电视里看到了TFBOYS成员的演出，他们一边弹着吉他，一边唱着歌，那样子真是帅极了！于是我便立即和妈妈说：“妈妈看他们的样子多帅呀！我也想学吉他。”妈妈开心地回答道：“好哇！但是学吉他很辛苦，你能坚持下来吗？”我坚定地点了点头。妈妈很快就给我报了一个吉他班。一开始我以为妈妈是骗我的，学吉他怎么会辛苦呀，就六根琴弦随便弹几下不就会了吗？但是我想错了，我把它想得太简单了。老师先教我们几个简单的爬格，可是我怎么都弹不好，总是弹不出声来，急得我像热锅上的蚂蚁一样。快下课了，我才弹出几个简单的音。回到家后，我把这件事告诉了妈妈，妈妈对我说：“无论做什么事情，只有坚持不懈才能成功。”于是我听了妈妈的话，继续坚持练习。
几个月过去了，我每天都坚持练习，再加上妈妈和老师的夸赞和鼓励，我更加自信也更加进步了。一年以后，老师让我们参加一个小型的比赛，我也报了名。刚开始的时候我有一点紧张，后来经过老师的指点我终于放松下来。最后，当听到主持人说：“比赛中最小的同学郑钦获得优秀奖。”当时我心里真是高兴极了！我手里捧着奖杯激动得说不出话来。
经过这次比赛，让我明白了只要你坚持不懈就一定能成功。并深深地懂得了，古人常说的一句话：“失败乃成功之母”的含意。
