今年暑假，爸爸带我去了古城西安，当然，这华山不用说肯定得去啦！
那天我们早早的坐上了旅游车，准备向华山进军，我的心里可激动啦，巴不得现在就到华山顶端呢。
自古华山一条路，说得就是华山的险。大客车把我们载到山脚下，我们就得换坐小型中巴车上山。随着山路蜿蜒曲折，我们安全的到达了索道站。
我们排了一会队便坐上了缆车，几分钟后缆车把我们带到了华山山腰，我壮着胆子往下看，下面是万丈深渊,我又仰望上空,华山上仿佛覆盖着积雪,这是因为华山上最多的不是树木,而是白色裸露的陡峭山崖。
缆车把我们送到了华山山腰，登山就开始了，我们爬的是西峰，西峰最高最美,传说沉香劈山救母的故事就发生在西峰。
我们整装待发，开始了这一次的华山探险 ,我们脚踩石梯,手攀铁链,爬过了连绵起伏的五云峰,爬过了险象环生的龟背石,来到了屈岭。西峰南崖有山脊与南峰相连，脊长300余米，石色苍黛，形态好像一条屈缩的巨龙，人称为屈岭，也称小苍龙岭，是华山著名的险道之一。屈岭就像龙的脊背,一条极其陡峭的石梯向上延伸,石梯的两旁则是云雾缭绕的悬崖,我攀着铁链,,眼望着高高的西峰,一步一步踩实石阶,一步一步前进,也不知爬了多少时间,也不知流了多少汗水,终于闯过了鬼门关——屈岭。我稍作休息,就一鼓作气爬上了西峰。
华山的西峰太美了!登西峰极目远眺，四周群山起伏，云霞四披，周野屏开，黄渭曲流，置身其中若入仙乡神府，万种俗念，一扫而空。宋名隐士陈抟在他的《西峰》诗中就有寄言嘉遁客，此处是仙乡的名句。
西峰上景观比比皆是，有翠云宫、莲花洞、巨灵足、斧劈石、舍身崖等，并伴有许多美丽的神话传说，其中尤为沉香劈山救母的故事流传最广。峰上崖壁题刻遍布，工草隶篆，琳琅满目。峰北绝顶叫西石楼峰，峰上杨公塔为杨虎城将军所建，塔上有杨虎城将军亲笔题辞。塔下岩石上有枕破鸿蒙题刻，是书法家王铎手迹。

行程原本是上午去登山的，可天公不作美，下雨了，还好下午天空放晴，我们就在导游的带领下来到山脚下，坐大巴来到索道站。啊！索道真长啊！不愧是“亚洲第一索道”！坐在缆车上，远远看去，云层在连绵起伏的山间飘荡，整个大山好像都被雾笼罩着，有点人间仙境的味道！当我们来到北峰时，有点“回首白云低”的感觉。导游阿姨一路上叮嘱我们要注意安全，还说“登山不看景，看景不登山”！的确如此，登往南峰的山路更加陡峭，山路中间的人群像一条长龙，一个一个一次排队拉着绳索往上走，爸爸为了安全，没让我继续往上爬。我心里却在想：等我长大了，我还要再来一次华山，一定要爬到最顶峰，感受一下“一览众山小”的感觉！
